One of the first things you should do when you audit an AdWords account is to use the AdWords Segments feature to see where the AdWords account is spending its money. Often, a client will think that they are spending 100% of their money on Google. But in reality, they may have accidentally (or intentionally) opted into the Google Display Network, and/or the Google Search partner network.

One of the most revealing things you can do is find out what percentage of money is being spent on each of the three networks: (1) Google Search, Google Display, and Google Search Partners. This free video below will show you how.
